The costs of a tuning are € 90 for a piano and € 95 for a grand piano. If your instrument has been purchased from us, the first service tuning is usually at our expense.
It is best if you have your instrument tuned at least 2 times a year. It is of course important for the tuning, but also for the maintenance and warranty of your instrument. Cold or heat is less important for your instrument, but so is its constancy. Usually a tuning is necessary when the seasons change.
The transport of the piano or grand piano is taken care of by ourselves with a very specially equipped truck. If you live on one floor, the truck is equipped with a special crane that reaches to a great height or even maneuvers the instrument over the roof to place it in your room.
It is best not to use artificial materials. Our advice is to use a simple damp (i.e. not wet) leather rag to drape the instrument and the keys into a plane and to use straight strips to lightly remove the instrument and the keys. If you are particularly careful with cloths that are not clean, which may contain for example sand , this will cause scratches. Actually, this is all you need to do from time to time. Be especially careful with moisture in and around the piano or grand piano so that it does not get between the keys or into the instrument. For example, you should really avoid placing a filled glass on your instrument. If you still have slight scratches on the piano, you can order our so-called Polifinal, which polishes away lighter or heavier scratches when mixed with water. Without water it is a pure polishing paste. The product is possibly the enioge safe product that we know as pianopolyester is very fine in structure (much finer than e.g. car’s) and is Polifinal without silicone (which could cause scratches).
It is always important to know that an instrument sounds different at home than in the shop, simply because the acoustic environment is different. Also, during transport the piano or grand piano can be slightly disturbed. The instrument first needs to acclimatize and settle down. In any case, the instrument can be intoned acoustically by a special intonation where we can change and adjust the sound according to your wishes with special tools. Our technicians are specially trained for this purpose by the manufacturers. As far as tuning is concerned, this takes place a few weeks after delivery of the piano or grand piano and is in most cases included in the price of purchase. It is advisable that your instrument is tuned 2 times a year.
With all our piano’s or grand pianos we deliver (service package) transparent or black or brown coasters that protect your floor against scratches. Also available are rubber coasters which at the same time attenuate contact floor noise.
In our service package we usually supply you with a hygrometer that you hang up somewhere in the room. Ideal is 50% . But, as long as the percentage varies between 40% (winter) and 60% summer, that's fine. If too much below 40% or above 60%, you can, in consultation with us, consider purchasing a so-called Dampp Chaser, which regulates the relative humidity in your instrument. On request, we will be happy to send you the documentation without any obligation.
We have plenty of free parking space in Veenendaal, Krimpen a.d. IJssel, Kalmthout (B), Hasselt (B) . In Amsterdam you can easily reach us with tram line 3 or 4 . You can also usually find a paid spot. Only on Sundays is free parking.
No, that's not necessary. However, it is nice to know if you do not come with your own transport, but for example by train. In that case we will be happy to pick you up from Station Veenendaal Centrum or Veenendaal “De Klomp”. Also if you want to come by for a special model and you want to be sure that the instrument is in stock and may not have just been sold, it is handy to make an appointment. Of course we always try to update the offer on the website, but sometimes an instrument may have just been sold.

Yes, that's possible. Usually we charge 2% of the price of the piano or grand piano per month. After 1 year you can buy the instrument and we deduct 100% of the rent already paid from the price.
Yeah, that's possible in a lot of cases. You can make a down payment of your choice and the rest will be financed through “Tweadle/ABN-AMRO” and you can choose in consultation to pay interest free in 12-24-36 instalments according to your choice.
