A black grand piano of 160 cm. The grand has been restored with a new high gloss laquer.

Ibach was a family business with a rich history and tradition.

The Ibach factory was founded in 1798 in Beyenburg (near Dusseldorf) and in 1834 the name Ibach was changed to Rud. Ibach Sohn because Carl Rudolf Ibach became co-owner of the factory.

Historically Ibach has always been an innovative and high-quality company. At the beginning of the 20th century Ibach, with its factories in Berlin, Schwelm and Barmen, was at the absolute top of piano building. After surviving difficult periods, the family business revived in the 60s and 70s. In this period Ibach made instruments of absolute world class.

Since Rolf Ibach entered into a joint venture with the South Korean company Daewoo in 1991, the quality of the instruments has deteriorated and production numbers have fallen sharply.

Ibach ceased to exist in December 2007.
Sometimes a novice pianist does not yet know which instrument he or she would like to have at home to start playing the piano. That is why you can also rent the pianos at Bol Pianos. In that case, you can first play the instrument at home on the basis of monthly rent, after which you can always proceed to purchase it.

Renting is only possible with our acoustic pianos and grand pianos.

If you would like to know more about the possibility of renting, you can do so via our contact form, or you can also send an e-mail to info@bolpianos.nl
